DESHAWN HATCHER teaches at the
INTERNATIONAL MAKEUP ARTIST TRADESHOW
PASADENA CA--JUNE 25th 2006
On June 25th, 2006 DeShawn Hatcher was an educator at the International Makeup Artist Tradeshow in Pasadena Calf. She answered questions about editorial shoots and the business, what to do when your on set, what not to do, portfolio development and shared her personal stories. This standing room only class was so popular it had to be extended an hour and moved to a larger room. DeShawn also shared her personal favorite makeup products and techniques. She was very proud to be the first in the country to premiere Stila's new Fall line to her attendees and her undying love for Cinema Secrets. The class could not have gone on without the help of Cinema Secrets, A Design-brushes--great brushes, Rebecca Rahcels-Brush Sleeve, Alcone, Nixie Cosmetics, Stila Cosmetics, and a fabulous new cosmetic company Thi Cosmetics.

"I love to give back to a community that has been so giving to me. I wanted to thank all those who attended. I wish you much success.--MAKEUP ARTISTS ARE THE BEST!!!"

"I loved DeShawn's class..I love how easy going she was with the audience and how informative she was.

DeShawn was straigt forward and to the point...I would have never known some of things I walked away with had she not told us.

No question was too ignorant to ask.

DeShawn seems to have such an enjoyable

personality..you don't see enough of that with makeupartists..

DeShawn has had so many wonderful experiences alreadyyet she isn't a snobby know-it-all artist."

I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to talk to me at the show and for your kind words and encouragement. They really meant a lot to me. You are an inspiration to me, and I hope to see you again. Who knows? Maybe I’ll see your friendly face and warm smile in New York at the next trade show! Or on set sometime? Hey, a girl can dream right?
